Placemats and Coasters

These are scaled down versions of Edge Grain Chopping Boards and can be supplied in matched sets with boards if required. We use the same timber and a very similar manufacturing process to that used for the Edge Grain Chopping Board.

Placemats approx: 290 mm x 220 mm Coasters approx: 100 mm x 100 mm
Both are approx: 8 mm thick

Normally these are sold in sets of 4 or 6

Placemats and Coasters are finished with a two-pack acrylic lacquer that is water proof and heat resistant. This as standard gives a 40 percent gloss level.

We are happy to look at special sizes, patterns, volumes and laser etched decoration on these products.

Coasters have baise pads on the back to help protect your furniture.

Matching sets

We can create matching sets of stripy edge grain boards, placemats, and coasters and hold stock of the following patterns as standard – Contrast, Graduate and Candy Stripe or you can choose any of the patterns that you see on our website or make up your own pattern through the bespoke products page.

We also make a version of coasters and placemats that include pigmented and photoluminescent (glow in the dark) resin.
