I have been thinking about squares and how to incorporate them into jewellery designs. I had been on a fold forming course and was inspired by the work that I saw there and then came up with this idea. I had some square sterling silver tubing and sawed some very small pieces and the soldered them on top of each other to give a 2 dimensional effect. I decided that these would look good as stud earrings so soldered sterling silver pins to make this complete. They are an elegant modern earring that are easy to wear.
