Thrown stoneware butter domes and made to measure plate with slip decoration and glossy transparent glaze
These lovingly handmade stoneware butter domes with plates have been thrown on the potter’s wheel using white stoneware clay and decorated with coloured slips before they were bisque fired (the first firing). They were then dipped in a glossy transparent glaze and fired for a second time.
Signed on the bottom with my carved signature and free of glaze.
Height approximately 10cm, diameter of plate 15/16cm. Big enough to hold a 200g Lurpak butter!
Each one is unique (although not perfectly round they are still perfectly functional!) and they are currently available for immediate dispatch.
We do not use single use plastic in the
production of this item.
