Thrown stoneware mugs with solid yellow inside and bees on the outside
These lovingly handmade stoneware “sunny bee” mugs have been thrown on the potter’s wheel using stoneware clay. I applied various sizes of bee underglaze transfers by hand yellow and then applied yellow decorating slip inside the mugs before before they were bisque fired (the first firing). They were then dipped in a glossy transparent glaze and fired for a second time.
Signed on the bottom with my carved signature and free of glaze.
