Charred beech wooden plate

Fabulously quirky wooden plate handmade from beech, charred with fire with three little feet

This wooden plate is 100 percent handmade and one of a kind with three little feet. Made from Beech, this plate was made before the wood completely dried which has resulted in a slightly distorted shape.To complement the shape the shape, it has been slightly charred on the outside and on the feet to give a beautiful look to the piece. This lovely plate is perfect if you prefer natural items in your home. A beautiful addition to your living room, kitchen or bedroom it can be used as a decorative item or for holding trinkets or jewellery.

The Beech used for making this plate is locally sourced from Buckinghamshire, England and is handmade using a lathe and traditional turning skills. Its 17.5cm wide and 4.5cm tall including the feet.

The plate is finished with our handmade beeswax wood salve which is 100 percent food safe. Small tins of wood salve are also available to add to the order to keep your plate looking fantastic for years to come.

Care instructions: Hand wash only, dry immediately and avoid using any harsh cleaning materials. Do not leave in water for long periods. Not suitable for dishwashers. Use a small amount of wood salve or (food safe) oil to maintain your bowl if it starts to look dry or dull.
