Leather belt purses bags

A selection of leather belt purses, bags and pouches

These leather belt purses, bags and pouches are all made by myself in my workshop in the Fens in Chatteris from either veg tan or chrome tanned leather. They come in differing weights and styles, all of them are hand sewn with a saddle stitch using waxed thread. These are favourited by many of Medieval / LARP re-enactment groups and are also suitable for every day use.
The smaller pouches are made from pre-dyed chrome leather with a strip of the same leather to act as a securing cord to retain the contents as well as to anchor to the wearers girdle.
The larger belt purses are made from veg tan leather and are hand sewn with a saddle stitch using waxed thread. They can be dyed with a water stain prior to a balm preserver being applied that creates a water barrier whilst also providing a shiny finish. This type of Belt Purse/Bag usually comes with loops for a girdle to be threaded through with the option to have a longer strap attached to turn it into a messenger style bag.

We do not use single use plastic in the production of this item.
