King Fisher in Pastel

Original framed artwork in pastel pencil on velour paper

The original photo for the kingfisher came to me quite randomly, i was chatting to a good friend who happened to show me a colleagues facebook page, as he knew my interest in birds, and has he flicked through the images, i fell in love immediately. thankyou to Phil Peat for the chance to paint this lovely special image.

the image had specical challenges, like the water for example, so hopefully my style has worked.
the artwork is mounted and framed, frame size is 20 inch x 16 inch.
