Four Elms pond Autumn

Oil painting on canvas stretched over frame, 20x16 inches, so no need for framing.
This painting was done at the pond in Four Elms in autumns, with the heron watching over it to see what he can harvest from the waters. The trees were dressed in yellow/ greenish colours, reflected in the water, with bulrushes growing and showing forth their brown flowers/seeds swinging in the breeze . A few ducks are sw2imming across the pond, heading for the little drifting house that has been erected for them. the autumn colours fascinated me and I just had to paint it.

This item has now been sold, but I have been commissioned to paint a similar artwork for a client.
