Geranium Soap

Smells like heaven with a sweet, green scent

Smells like heaven and I cant get enough of it (its my personal favourite)! Geranium essential oil has a delicate sweet scent and yet somehow theres a greenness to it that makes you think youre lying in a woodland with the fairy folk! The soap is coloured using madder root which makes the lovely pink colour (madder is a wild plant which has a natural dyeing effect).

Geranium has many benefits including as an anti-inflammatory, as an antioxidant, its both anti-fungal and anti-bacterial and of course its beautifully soothing so is great for stress.

Ingredients: sodium olivate (saponified olive oil) sodium cocoate (saponified coconut oil) sodium shea butterate (saponified shea butter) water, glycerine (a by-product of making the soap) sodium castorate (saponified castor oil). Theres also citronelol, geraniol, limonene, citral, and linalool - but theyre already a constituent part of the essential oils and not additives. These can, however, be allergens so if irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Because the soaps are truly natural, coloured only with botanicals and scented only with essential oils, theyre best used within about six months from the date of purchase. Having said that, Ive used some that are older than this and theyve been perfectly fine but do bear this in mind. Most importantly, all Speedwell Nature soaps are handmade in small batches, vegan, palm oil and preservative free and of course cruelty free.

As these are handmade products, weights may vary but all the soaps are between 68g - 110g depending on the mould used. The standard mould is the tree of life mould which is 110g.
