These rough moonstone wire encased dangle earrings drop about 2cm from the bottom of the ear-wire. The stone itself measures about 1.2cm in width and 1.3 in length.

The earrings are great for casual or formal wear.

The earwire hooks are 14k gold filled and the wire wrap is gold plated. These rustically wrapped earrings are perfect for everyday wear and formal occasions!

All pieces are carefully handmade by me at home, and while I try my best to make pairs that match, there may be some subtle differences in the wire-work and natural stone shapes.

“Gold filled” consists of a solid layer of gold (14k) mechanically bonded to a base metal, such as brass. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 5 percent (1/20th) of the weight of the item. This bond makes it hard wearing and tarnish-resistant. Under normal circumstances, the gold will not peel or flake off.

Gold filled earwires are a great option for those who are sensitive to metals on the skin due to the thick outer layer of 14k gold.

The gold plated wire used is tarnish resistant, nickel and zinc free, and will remain vibrant with proper handling and care.
