This beautiful glass display features a black screen-printed hare with coloured glass forming the grass, mushrooms, and a flower. This item comes complete with a black powder coated stand.

The picture is very tactile as the coloured glass provides a 3D element to the composition.

This item was made from fused glass which was hand cut, and kiln fired in my home studio. The screen print is fired onto the glass and cannot be removed or scratched off. The flower and mushroom were made by freezing glass powder with water, then firing from frozen. The grass is made from vitrigraph, which is molten glass ‘threads’ pulled down from the kiln into different shapes.

In total, this item was fired in the kiln for around 40 hours, at a maximum temperature of 800 degrees Celsius.

The picture measures approximately 12cm x 18cm and rests securely on the stand.

As this item is handmade, it is totally unique.
