The wax is then poured into our cotton wicked recyclable tins ready for hand decorating. This gives each candle an individual look so please remember your candle decoration may differ from the image displayed.
Finally, our unique candles are left to cure until they are sold.

Soy vs Paraffin - Whats the difference?
Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybeans through a process called hydrogenating. This is where the soybeans are harvested, cleaned, cracked, de-hulled and rolled into flakes in order to extract the oils. Any leftover flakes from the soybeans are used for animal feed - zero waste! Soy wax burns slower than paraffin as it has a lower melting point and due to its completely natural origin, it is thought to burn cleaner than paraffin. This means a soy wax candle on average burns for 30 - 50 percent longer than the paraffin alternative.
Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum, coal or oil shale. Meaning paraffin wax is a by-product of petroleum and therefore is non-renewable. Although paraffin wax contains hydrocarbons as a result of its origin, it is still widely used throughout the candle community as it is cheaper and more accessible than soy wax. Many people report that they suffer headaches and/or respiratory issues when burning paraffin and this is thought to be due to the chemicals it releases into the air.
Both types of wax produce beautiful looking candles and the possibilities of scents and decorations are endless, the candle you choose is purely down to personal preference!
