This show stopping piece will make a real statement in the home or garden and comes with hanging apparatus installed, making it ready to go - simply hang it up, or it looks equally great propped up!

Inspired by the Japanese wood burning method of Shou Sugi Ban, each piece of reclaimed wood is carefully selected, trimmed and sanded down before (the really cool bit!) being charred with a blowtorch. and 128293 and 128293

The burned pieces are individually hand brushed (which is the key to bringing the unique wood grain to life) carefully washed, painted and sanded again. To achieve the POP of our signature FUNKY colours, a high quality, protective, waterproof finish is applied before assembling.

Using reclaimed wood mean all our items are one of a kind the colour, markings and texture of the wood will vary from piece to piece. It is full of character which makes all our items entirely original - you’ll find a variety of features in your product these may be from their previous life or simply the natural grain and pattern in the wood. They are “perfectly, imperfect” and we think that’s pretty FUNKY!
