• Colchester born artist Tina Bullen specialises in oil painting and ink drawing. Trained in art and media from CCCU in Canterbury, Kent, she is a member of Colchester Art Society and was recently shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2022.
Tina sees her work as representational, occasionally impressionistic and sometimes symbolic. Her work is largely inspired and influenced by opposites: dark and light, contrasting colours, connection and isolation. Locations -at home or abroad - also feature in her portfolio, including pieces from the Isle of Wight and her home county Essex. Tina also likes cats and paints them - on canvas - not on their actual fur!
