Lily illustration handmade notebook

Lily A5 Character Notebook which is handmade in my home studio (size is approx after trimming). The cover is illustrated and designed by me and the theme runs through the internal pages also with a design to compliment the cover.

Internal pages are made from 80gsm, 100 percent recycled paper which is de-inked without bleaching and also free from optical brightening agents (OBA).
Internal pages are a subtle creamy white colour due to no bleaching of the papers during the manufacturing process of this recycled paper.
All pages are printed with twenty lines per single page with enough room left at bottom for any notes or doodles to be added if needed.

Cover is made from 210 gsm white card stock which enables colours used in design to show true potential and show artwork in best most effective way. Cover is also then laminated to provide a degree of protection to the book with splashes however not fully resistant against moisture. Due to the lamination this makes the cover not widely recycled however this is something which I will be doing as soon as I am able to find a sustainable and reliable source of materials as a business.

Notebook contains 30 pages to write on and is stitched together. Notebooks are also pressed to reduce the book opening, however due to them being handmade and with more pages they open slightly. They are made into a book using a multiple crease on the cover for a professional look to your notebook showing a spine also.
Packaging is done with consideration to the environment also in the use of tissue rather than bubble wrap were possible. As a business I am trying to eradicate the use of cello where ever possible as I use glassine bags in a lot of my packaging instead which is widely able to be recycled.
