An original multi-coloured pastel drawing of a llama and Aymara Indian. Picked up in the small hamlet of Parinacota, in the northern Altiplano of the Andes. I had been visiting nearby Lago Chungara in the Lauca National Park with my partner, as part of an 18 month backpacking trip through South and Central America. This drawing was bought in April 1997 on a day trip from Arica to the region, which starts at over 3000 metres above sea level,

• Condition: Excellent although there are some small cracks in the folds of the card. These would not be seen on framing. Request further images if required, although these folds can be picked out above the llamas ears.
