Named after a godmother, best friend and all round gorgeous human being, Carol, whom we heartbreakingly lost earlier this year to cancer.

Not long after her diagnosis of secondary cancer, Carol learnt that a massive 23 percent of breast cancer cases are preventable through lifestyle alterations, and although she could never have been certain that her outcome would have been different had she made changes, she wanted nothing more than to give others a chance to to rewrite their future. Alongside some incredible people at The Royal Marsden, Carol founded the Pioneer Study, an incredible project with the aim to try and understand what is most likely to help women adopt lifestyles that will stop them from being one of those 23 percent.

We want nothing more than to spread the word about Carols incredible, life saving work and to help her legacy live on, so we will be donating 10 percent of each sale of our Christmas Carol candle to the Pioneer Study and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
