Wet Felted Bird Sculpture
Wet felted blue and red bird with wire legsThis is a blue and red bird, hand made using Corriedale wool in my workshop in sunny Suffolk.
He is made in one piece to create a seamless design, then stuffed with recycled stuffing materials and the legs are made from wire covered in wool fibres. The eyes are mother of pearl buttons that catch the light beautifully to add to his expression.
He is approximately 10cm tall and 30cm from the tip of the beak to the tail.
As each piece is hand made, every one is unique.
Please note these are NOT suitable as childrens toys or pet toys and are intended as purely decorative items to brighten up any room
