A Womens Growth
This piece is dedicated to the struggles women face in their lifetime and how a women overcomes it, such as childbirth, motherhood etc.This abstract intertwined with realism piece was inspired by statutes of nude people in gardens but I wanted my nude person how ever to be painted in a more abstract style. The growth comes from the the plants around the women, with some young and mature plants.
In some part ( the plants) the paint is in a 3d format due to the use of a palette knife.
The medium is acrylic paint and varnished for protection.
