Spring Bank Watercolour Painting

Spring Bank Watercolour Painting

A original painting of a spring bank of flowers in a woodland

This original watercolour and ink painting captures that point in Spring where the bluebells are just about to carpet the woodland floor. Many different flowers are jostling for space, making the most of the bare canopy above them and getting in there ahead of the bluebells that are starting to open. This spring bank is on a regular walk of mine and is close to a little stream. It is full of wild primrose, lords and ladies, celandine, wood anemone, brambles, violets and bluebells. Can you spot them all?!

It is painted in Windsor and Newton watercolour on Two Rivers handmade 350gsm paper. The paper is A4 size and the image size is approximately 23cm by 14 cm so it should fit in readily available frames. It comes unmounted and unframed.

Your painting will be protected in a clear bag made from vegetable starch that is fully biodegradable and sent flat in a sturdy recyclable card envelope. A certificate of authenticity will accompany this art work.

As with all artwork, it is best to protect it behind glass and to hang away from direct sunlight.

We do not use single use plastic during the production or sale of this item.
