A leather keyring with brass fittings in the shape of an octopus
Mr. Octopus is a quirky and characterful keyring who would love to be the guardian of your keys. He is made from a single piece of leather with the top folded over and secured with blue saddler’s thread. The thread forms a bit of a top knot. The eyes are copper rivets and the keyring is solid brass. The leather is English bridle leather from Britain’s only remaining oak bark tannery. Oak bark tanning is an ancient process that uses local hides and natural products to produce leather in a sustainable way.
Each octopus is made entirely by hand and each one is unique and may include small marks and creases. Your octopus will age naturally over time, becoming darker and more supple the more you use him. He may even take on the character of his new owner…
All the metal work is made in the UK.
Mr. Octopus is approximately 12.5cm long including keyring, the leather fob is about 8cm wide (tentacle to tentacle) and about 0.5cm deep. The brass keyring is 3cm wide.
Your octopus will be wrapped in recycled and recyclable tissue paper and sent in a plastic free and recyclable cardboard envelope to ensure he arrives in tip top condition.
We do not use single use plastic during the production
of this item.
