Stained Glass Panel with Stand
This window glass panel/suncatcher depicts an abstract seascape with two agate stones blue and green. I have also used a few glass stones the agates and stones represent the jewels that can be found in our seas and oceans. I live on an island and I love to see the colours of the sea in different light and weather situations. I have chosen textures which represent the ripples on the surface of the sea, the still calmness and differing shades depending on the light and weather.
The traditional copper foil technique has been used and it has two secure fixed attachments. Stained glass looks best when it has sunlight filtering through it but it also look good with artificial light nearby or just as pieces of art against a wall.
I sometimes display small glass panels on a stand on top of a shelf/bookcase/windowsill.
We do not use single use plastic during the production
of this item.
