This vintage 1950s Kodak Duraflex ll camera has been upcycled into a striking and stylish lamp.
This vintage 1950s Kodak Duraflex ll camera with its symmetrical design, rounded corners and aluminium ribbed detail from the streamline era has been upcycled into a striking and stylish lamp.
The camera sits on top of a vintage chrome Pyramid tripod and has been fitted with a vintage style chrome E27 lamp fitting holding a vintage Edison style black smoked glass LED light bulb producing a lovely warm glow.
These Edison style LED bulbs produce far less heat than traditional incandescent bulbs as they use up to 90 percent less energy and have up to 30,000 hours lifespan.
The lamp is also fitted with a vintage style brown braided flex cable with an inline switch, a chrome cord grip, and a 3amp British plug. All fittings are genuine British parts, all hand-wired to a high, professional standard and the lamp has been PAT tested.
The telescopic legs of the tripod can be extended further, but the overall height of the lamp in the photos is approx 72cm. Perfect as either a desk/table lamp or a floor lamp.
This is an original vintage item so there may be some natural wear and tear which adds to the character of the lamp.
