This gorgeous vintage early 1930s rare Kodak Hawkette No.2 folding camera with its bellow lens and mottled brown Bakelite body with Art Déco details has been beautifully upcycled by hand into a stylish floor lamp. This unique lamp is fitted with an antique style light fitting with a vintage style Edison light bulb with a spiral filament producing a lovely warm glow.
These Edison style LED bulbs use up to 90 percent less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs, and have up to 30,000 hours lifespan.
The lamp is also fitted with a vintage style brown braided flex cable with an inline switch, an antique style metal cord grip, and a 3amp British plug. All fittings are genuine British parts, all hand-wired to a high, professional standard.
The vintage telescopic tripod with its extending legs can be extended to multiple heights giving the lamp a height of up to 149cm making it ideal as a floor lamp, or a table lamp.
This is an original vintage item so there may be some natural wear and tear which adds to the character of the lamp.
All electrical parts are new, work has been carried out to a professional standard and is PAT tested.
