Handmade Olive Wood

This is an XL chopping board made from a waney edged piece of Olive, a blue river epoxy centre really brings out the natural grain in the wood.

Size 500mm x 300mm x 25mm

No artificial colouring or staining process, the depth and vibrancy of colour comes from the natural characteristics of the wood itself.

Every board is assembled with an FDA approved food safe, water proof wood pulp glue.

Each board has been treated prior to shipping with a blend of food safe Mineral Oil and Bees wax, this conditions the wood to prevent cracking, splitting and helps keep moisture out.

Wood cutting boards are safe for both meat and vegetables with proper cleaning and maintenance.

Naturally anti-bacterial, wood is the choice of all good chefs.

Care and Keeping: Never submerge your board or place it in the dishwasher, do not use vegetable oils, olive oils, etc. on your cutting board as they will turn rancid and leave your board unsanitary and foul smelling. Always use warm water, mild soap and wipe dry when clean. Apply Board Wax after each use for the first week and whenever necessary thereafter to extend the life of your board.
