Lustrous pearls and brilliant amethyst

Natural cultured freshwater pearls are teamed with superb amethyst beads for a really special piece of jewellery

Each of the 32 freshwater pearls in this stunning 20 inch long necklace are individually unique, with the most beautifully iridescent lustre and the very slight variations in their not quite round shape and size which brings interest and character.

34 of the 36 4mm amethyst beads are smooth and round whilst the remaining two are wonderfully faceted for texture and sparkle, but the centrepiece of this creation is an 8mm emerald cut amethyst briolette. The pearls and most of the amethysts are hand knotted onto deep purple pure silk whilst 6 of the amethyst beads and the briolette are strung without knots between them.
