“I make contemporary bags and accessories using upcycled wood and leather”
With a background in teaching Design and Technology (mainly Textiles and woodwork), I make a range of accessories and bags made predominantly from upcycled leather jackets and offcuts of hardwoods such as oak and teak leftover from the timber trade. For several years now I have been making and selling my wares on the side of teaching full time but have recently taken the plunge to give up my day job and be a full time designer/maker. I also make bespoke gifts for weddings such as gifts for bridesmaids and wedding favours. As well as this, I offer short courses and workshops to teach others how to make anything from simple accessories such as key fobs and mobile phone cases to fully lined handbags. Please get in touch if you are interested in attending a course, discussing a possible commission or just fancy a chat!
