Normansfield Theatre

“Normansfield Theatre is a grade 2 listed Victorian Theatre dating back to 1879.”

Normansfield Theatre is a grade II listed theatre built by Dr John Langdon Down in 1879. It was built as an entertainment hall as part of Normansfield, a home for people with learning disabilities. It is now home to the national office of the Downs Syndrome Association and the theatre is used regularly for drama groups, talks and performances. We hold an annual Christmas Craft Fair in November of each year.
