Mixed media short breaks Gwynedd, suitable for beginners

Four day crafting holidays, based at Clynnog Fawr, Gwynedd in holiday cottages on the coast.

The crafting holiday will give beginners a taste of a range of crafts. The accommodation will be a room of your own (or share with a relative/friend) in a shared self catering cottage.

The craft sessions will be in the onsite barn.

The itinary will be - All materials included in the cost of the holiday.

Day 1 a.m. - arrival, meet the host and your fellow holiday makers
Day 1 p.m. - 6 embroidary stitches. A sampler will be created with 6 embroidary stitches, then a small embroidary kit will be given, to be completed over the week.
Day 2 a.m. Fabric printing - print your own linen tote bag and teatowel.
Day 2 p.m. Macrame - learn the basic macrame knot, and make a feather or leaf wall hanging.
Day 3 a.m. Paint your own plant pots - decorate your plant pots in acryclic paint.
Day 3 p.m. Decoupage - learn how to do the art, by creating a lovely chest box for yourself.
Day 4 a.m. Frame your embroidary (the kit from day one p.m.).

You will leave with a framed embroidary you have created, a hand painted plant pot, hand printed tea towel and tote bag, a decoupaged small chest, macrame wall hanging and your sewing sampler. Along with new friends, and inspiration of what crafts you would like to continue to enjoy.

Please note, the cottages are self catering and shared, you wil have your own bedroom.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available during the craft sessions, but no other meals.
