Situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Chilterns, Wendover Woods is home to stunning trails and picturesque views. Wendover Woods sits at the highest point of the Chiltern Range, also known as Haddington Hill. The highest point is at 267 metres above sea level and is marked on a stone at the end of our Hilltop trail. Wendover Woods is also home to our own Gruffalo sculpture, which is very popular to all ages.
Wendover Woods is an unique opportunity to have a stall in the middle of the forest, where you can find people that are trying to escape from the city life as well as those who intend to connect with nature.
Wendover Woods is part of Forestry England: for over 100 years, we have been growing, shaping and caring for over 1,500 of our nation’s forests for the benefit and enjoyment of all, for this generation and the next. Your involvement will help us support the conservation and development of natural habitats and fight the climate emergency.
The site offers activities suitable to all ages, from our ever so popular play trail to tree top courses run by Go Ape for adrenaline seekers!
The café on site offers a variety of seasonal hot and cold food and drinks, with a mixture of outdoor and indoor seating.
There are toilets on site, as well as changing places facilities.
Our car park, amongst the wild flower bays, can hold roughly 500 cars and it is just a couple of minutes walk from the facilities described above.
Reception can not be guaranteed via Wifi. We would recommend all stallholders to use 4G. We can not be held responsible for lack of signal within our beautiful forest.
