Giving left-over ofcuts and fabrics waste a second life
Fouded in 2014 Phosphenes is a design and manufacturing studio in London, sew first hand how much offcuts waste is generated during the desighn and manufacturing process. the company decided to find a solution to this by transforming left-over offcuts and textile as well as left products into new and lived again products.
ReLondon awarded the business with a grant from the GLAs Green New Deal fund to epicycle offcuts, re-cycle products and create items and accessories fron it.
Paperella was born out of this venture and started to create something out of left materials.
Paperella Kids and Paperella Zero accessories are both have vision to reuse, cycle, re-cycle and re use fabrics, items and accesories.
