My Mood Stars

I am a retired childminder who has designed My Mood Stars as a toy to help children communicate their emotions.

I design Plush Mood Stars for children in Early Years. As a childminder, helping children with their personal, social and emotional development, as well as communication skills, I found My Mood Stars an invaluable resource for encouraging children to talk about their emotions.
I would use the My Mood Stars as props for story sacks, to help children express how they were feeling, or as toys strewn across the floor where children could make up their own stories and it was interesting and sometimes hilarious to hear what they came out with.
Ofsted loved them!
The wonderful thing about the My Mood Stars is that they are helpful and fun whether you are a child, parent, grand-parent, child minder, teacher, or social worker.
The backs of the My Mood stars are made of Tricot material that is Velcro receptive. I am making some My Mood Star boards as an off-shoot as many people asked me during my market research if the My Mood Stars can be attached to a board for further enjoyment.
