Gurutaa Leathers is a highly ethical provider of a range of beautifully hand crafted leather bags including handbags, briefcases, day bags, satchels, purses, hold-alls, and much more in addition to a range of handcrafted tribal Indian accessories. We have charitable connections in India and work with selected families in rural Rajistan and Himachal Pradesh. We work with our family production teams to design our bags to be both stylish and practical using traditional hand tools to create amazing quality leather goods.

Fairtrade is important to us and we ensure all our crafts people are paid a fair price for production, importantly all our products are made in a home environment by skilled craftspeople of working age, and we ensure no chemicals are used in the making of our products.

In addition to paying a fair price for production we aim to give a percentage of our profits each year to charities we work with closely in India supporting education and health and infrastructure projects in the rural communities in which our production families live and work.
