Enhancing surprise or unexpected happiness through the artisan creation of unique, bespoke, handmade leather bags and accessories!
Leather Craftsman and Bag Designer. Kahoodol Leather: Enhancing surprise or un-expected happiness through the artisan creation of unique, bespoke, handmade leath-er bags and accessories! All of the bags and accessories are made by hand in a small workshop (box bedroom) at my house. I started this activity in Feb 2016 with a leather work course and have loved the process and the outputs ever since. Now I would like to bring my products to a wider audience.
Products include: Keyrings (£5), Pen holders (£10 - £20), phone cases (£20), Coin Trays (£15), credit card holders (£10 to £20), wallets (£20 - £30), notebook covers (£20 to £50), tote bags (£25 to £75), bags (£50 to £200), ruck-sacks (£100 to £200).
All of the leather that I work with comes from a leather merchant based in Cheddar, Somerset and all of the metalwork is sourced from a UK supplier.
What does handmade in Bristol mean for me? Handmade really means made totally by hand. The original pattern design drawn by hand, the pattern pieces drawn onto the pattern card by hand. The pattern cut out by hand. The leather is cut out from the pattern by hand and then every stitch is marked and sown using two needle saddle stitching techniques by hand. Not a machine in sight. Handmade means made by hand, means unique and means not perfect but perfect for you.
