Jason Leggett The Gift of Glass

I am a glass artist and have a studio opening in Mortimer in August . I will be offering classes in glass fusing and copper Foiling.

I have been learning many different techniques to incorporate into my glass works for the past 3 years and now have a broad range of skills including fusing, copper foiling, glass painting sandblasting and engraving (beginner in these areas). I am currently learning how to blow glass and will aim to create pieces such as Bowls vases and paperweights in the future.
I have recently acquired a studio and this will enable me to offer classes for up to a max of 4 students in glass fusing and copper foiling. I currently make items on a small scale individual basis with the ability to create many beautiful items including jewellery small bowls and decorative objects. This includes making fused glass items that range from simple coasters to more complicated items that can be personalised to include names and dates for those special occasions such as birthdays anniversaries or just for the chance to have something unique. I have recently purchased a new larger Kiln and this will enable me to make larger items such as panels and tiles and potentially larger bowls etc.
I make small glass boxes simple 3D shapes, sun catchers and small panels and mirrors etc with a range of coloured stained glass utilising the copper foiling technique.
