A Dried Spell in Floral Art
Imaginative, Unusual and Unconventional Dried and Silk Floral Art
Established in 2015, A Dried Spell is a cottage industry based in the High Peak in Derbyshire where dried and preserved plants and flowers are used to create unusual, unique and unconventional floral art designs.
The creations are a culmination of not only an interest in nature, but also a love of all things vintage, especially ceramics and textiles. Using these interests as foundations, they have become the inspiration for creating really unique pieces of artwork.
Some of my designs also incorporate the use of excellent quality artificial flowers and plants, but are used only when I feel their quality is such that they resemble their natural counterpart exquisitely.
At present, sales of floral arrangements and pictures are available through my attendance at local artisan markets, craft fairs and commissions, attendance of which I will advertise through this site. However, I am currently investigating the sale of my pictures through using a courier service so please watch this space for updates on this.
