Handmade crochet toys and gifts

I make and design crochet toys and gift, I have always knitted and made cross stitch pictures, and I could crochet, but only the traditional granny squares. In November 2015 I was blessed with a Grandson, Harrison, so started making blankets for him, this lead to the toy making, and learning to read patterns. I was working on a baby lamb and friend suggested that I could sell the thing that I had made. So I booked my first craft fair, and have done many since. I can now work from pictures, cartoons, and can take on personalised projects. I enjoy the craft, but more than the self satisfaction I get from making things, it is great to see, mainly the childrens eye light up when the see my toys. I have recently been making retro toys, which started with a request from a Nursing Homes care assistant, she ask me for a Humpty Dumpty, residents in the home with memory problems can relate to thinks from their past. Im happy to try anything!
