Wildife and nature photographer
I am a photographer with a passion for all wildlife and nature. I can often be found out and about in my spare time taking photographs of the surrounding countryside in Kent, as well as the everyday nature found in our gardens.
I have always had an interest in the naturalist world from a young age (most of my youth was spent with my head in a nature book) and I started photographing wildlife over five years ago. I began with watching and studying the behaviour of birds in the garden, even setting up night cameras to record nocturnal visitors. I attended several photography courses and workshops, which fuelled my interest and enabled me to progress my skills in my chosen field. Most of my spare time is now spent seeking opportunities to photography wildlife within their natural habitat, although I will photograph those in captivity if appropriate. I consider photographing wildlife, and gaining an insight into their world, an honour and I would never disturb any species in search of the perfect picture. It is their world after all.
I am a member of the RSPB and League Against Cruel Sports, amongst others, as I believe we should do all we can to protect our wildlife.
I currently sell framed prints and handmade greeting cards, although I am looking to expand into producing other items in due course. I am also looking at branching into pet photography.
