Jewellery designer and manafacturer, silver and precious/semi precious stones
I have been making jewellery for over 20 years, firstly at evening classes then learning more from practice and experience.
I work mostly in Sterling and fine silver. I use some gold and incorporate precious and semi - precious stones and beads.
I love being inspired by the things I see in the natural world, leaves and flora and fauna. I also like to buy a stone and see what it might become by sketching ideas and seeing how they turn out.
I also make recycled items from silver flatware, spoons and forks become rings, bracelets and pendants, I like to think Im rescuing them from being melted down and like to incorporate the original hallmarks where I can as they are also attractive features.
I moved to Nenthead in Cumbria a couple of year ago and am settling in in the North Pennines surrounded by lots of inspirational nature and flora and fauna, i hope to have much more time to design and make and take my designs to a new level.
All my jewellery is hallmarked in Sheffield where I have my marks registered.
I can do commissioned work for most life events, I have made tiaras and other wedding jewellery - just ask.
