Abstract and African wildlife art

I was born in Zambia (central Africa) and spent my youth there and in South Africa. After completing my university degree in Cape Town, I moved to the United Kingdom in my early 20s and have been here ever since. Over the years, I have kept my love and passion for art alive by undertaking commissions for wildlife art and pet portraits, while expanding my interests by creating various other pieces.

I create paintings and sketches of African wildlife, birds and pet dogs, abstracts, still life and famous landmarks in a range of mediums normally acrylics, oil pastels, chalk (soft) pastels and ink on canvas or textured paper. The passion for my art stems from emotions. Each one of my pieces has a story. Each one of my pieces is a poem.

I take commissions for portraits of your beloved pet and produce an immortalised picture on acid free coloured pastel paper using soft (chalk) or oil pastels (fixed with a fixative, if appropriate) or paint them using acrylics on canvas.

In addition to original pieces, I produce high quality prints of some of my artwork on greeting cards and post cards.
