Ive been sewing since the age of 11 and at 70 Im still enjoying it. Novelty childrens waistcoats are my forta.

Everything is handmade by me.
Ive always sewn from a very young age. I find it very relaxing and love seeing the end results. I used to make my own childrens clothes when they were young. Now I have four grandchildren (2 girls and 2 boys) I make the odd clothes for them also. My eldest granddaughter is 14 and she also loves sewing and made her first item - a pair of shorts for herself, which were admired by her school friends. She also loves upcycling from clothes from charity shops and designing bags etc.

Sewing is not just a hobbie for me, it has gone further than that. I make childrens clothes and childrens novelty waistcoats with bow ties to match. These have been a very successful sale for me and I love creating them. The clothes are all individually made, so each one is unique.

The price for the Novelty Waistcoats with bow tie, size range from 2yrs to 5yrs is £25 which includes postage. If you would like to purchase the shirt to go with it which is not homemade the price will be £27. The waistcoats are fully lined with a contrasting plain coloured fabric for the back co-ordinating with the patterned front of the waistcoat. I can make larger sizes, so please do get in touch.

I have exhibited at a few Craft Fairs, and the public really love the items I make especially the Novelty Waistcoats with matching bow ties.

Cushions are another thing I like to make along with designing all types of bags, from shopping bags to going out bags.Also, Christmas items such as Christmas stockings, sacks, advent calendars all made out of fabric.

Im new to this selling lark and still trying to get my head around how to sell my items to a wider audience. Any help would be appreciated.
