Handmade recycled jewellery and personalised memory lockets made out of vintage china, silver, glass, lace, and poetry.

As a textile designer with a passion for pretty and unusual patterned old china I decided to apply a little creative thinking to my china finds developing a unique collection of jewellery. Each necklace, pendant, bracelet or pair of earrings is carefully cut out of a rescued piece of china from my collection. China which has lost its value is recycled and transformed with a little Alchemists magic into a piece of jewellery ready to be loved, worn and cherished once more.

Alongside the China Collections I make personalised jewellery using your photographs combined with china, lace, poetry and glass.
My work offers a sense of nostalgia, of times gone by, inspiring memories of afternoon tea and of precious shared moments with loved ones. I often work to commission which gives me the opportunity to create unique customised jewellery for you. Using photographs sensitively adjusted in Photoshop, images are taken to black and white or sepia and where appropriate we add a touch of colour. Within sealed glass lockets I can use your precious fragments of antique lace or a fabric remnant. Carefully selected words can be incorporated into the jewellery, sealed behind glass. Damaged China heirlooms can be recycled and made into pieces of memorabilia for the family to re-treasure and pass down. More and more I strive to work directly with the individual customer in order to create unique jewellery that means something special to them.

My collections sell in various retail outlets and galleries in the UK including Wedgwood Museum, Stoke-On-Trent Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, Stoke-On-Trent Cwt Tatws, Towyn Royal Cambrian Academy, Conwy Funky Aardvark, Chester Oriel Bodfari, Vale of Clwyd North Wales Tourism, Llangollen.
