Gingham and Gifts

I love sewing and creating all sorts of gifts which is a good job as I have a weakness for buying I have a weakness for fabric and buttons.

I Make all sorts of different things for the home, from cushions to tatty wreaths. The tatty wreaths that I make use up all the smallest pieces fabric and lace so I hardly have any waste, we are all more aware of recycling and the world around us which is why I like to upcycle old clothes for the fabrics and using second hand items and decorating them to give them a new lease of life. Old jars are great for putting a selection of gifts in them, I put hair accessories/manicure sets/beauty products in and they make lovely sewing kits too.
My items reflect country living and fit in well with country style homes, but at the same time reflect a retro look because of the vintage fabrics I use. My range of cushions vary from tatty patchwork to applique work
