Ink and Watercolour sketches using vintage materials as the canvas.

Watercolour by Hannah is a mixture of Art and love of history. I sketch landmarks, architecture, flora and fauna as well as animals and reimagine them on vintage postcards and envelopes. I use the stamp’s location and heritage as part of the composition. I also paint on vintage manuscripts, following the narrative of the song to guide image, texture, and mood across the page. My art began in grief after my father’s death, a healing practice during months by his bedside in hospital. Now I teach in a Primary school by day and paint by night, embracing the freedom and mindfulness that art offers, inviting you to pause as history comes to life on paper.
