I have been on such a journey and never in a million years thought I would end up selling my photos. About 12 years ago I wanted to learn photography to take photos of the local area to put up in my house. I am mainly self taught with a few helpers along the way, the biggest YouTube. Probably, my biggest challenge, was for someone who was in their 50s and never having owned a computer I had to buy a laptop and find my way around it in order to edit my photos. The statement not a techi person doesnt come close. I diverted onto dog photography for a few years and did not pick up my camera for a whole year during Covid. I fell in love with Tunbridge Wells common and have spent the last year taking pictures of the common and surrounding area during the four seasons. I especially love autumn and winter. Now, on the wrong side of 60 I am finally ready to show and hopefully sell by photographs. I have already decided my biggest achievement is the journey I have been on and can now confidently pick up my camera and fiddle around with the dials looking like a professional, its just a shame I have to go onto a computer to get to my end result which I still find challenging. We recently learnt that our beautiful common is going up for sale which is heartbreaking and pray we dont lose this beautiful place which is literally a stones throw from the town.
