Stoneware pottery with soul! Hand painted dishes together with animal sculpture and lovely glazes inspired by the Devon countryside

I am a small batch potter working from a small studio based in Honiton, Devon. I create small stoneware sculptures of animals and birds but also throw occasional stoneware dishes and mugs - mainly for hand illustrating. All my pieces are unique - animals and birds appear out of the clay - if I intend to make a bird, often something else entirely appears!

I teach throwing and hand building at the Honiton Pottery Workshop, one to ones mainly. I have been selling my work quite successfully through pottery markets and art fairs, local galleries and online via my website Green Pebble Artisan Market.
I am available at Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton, online via Green Pebble Artisans and through Westcountry Potters Association events in Exeter and Tavistock. I take commissions both in pottery and watercolour (I design cards).

I attend regular courses in sculpture (The Sculpture School, Devon) and refresher courses (Leach Pottery, St Ives) to keep up to date with skills. I have experience with Raku.
