I am based in Ulverston. I love sculpting and creating designs on my pots.

My name is Jayne and live in Ulverston. I first started potting whilst I was studying for a science degree in Hatfield and embarked on an evening course in St. Albans 40 years ago. I then saw a pottery course in Walney Island near Barrow six years ago and that was the restart of my love of making pots and sculpture. I undertake commissioning work and get a buzz if someone loves any of my creations.
For me its a more of a passion than a business and I try to add some humour in when I can.
I do like to try different techniques and designs rather than keep to a couple of designs. This probably reflects my personality.
Interaction with customers is great particularly if they walk away with a smile on their face being pleased with their purchase. What could be better than that.
