Sussex based author of fantasy novels, primarily the acclaimed Dust Series

Stafford Vance is the Sussex-based author of dystopian post-industrial epic fantasy books. His best known novels are the Dust Series, a sweeping saga of magick, survival, adventure, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship. Outside of the Dust Series, he has written Max a standalone novel, and a set of three horror stories – the Shadowpine Chronicles. He is currently writing Fractured the fourth book in the acclaimed Dust Series.

Storytelling has been in Stafford’s life from an early age. He grew up moving from place to place, which made putting down roots and making lasting relationships difficult. As a result, books became his escape and his imagination grew strong. He learnt that he could entertain himself for hours at a time crafting intricate tales of fantasy and adventure. Despite a lifetime of writing stories, it was only in 2022 that Stafford took the plunge and became a full-time author.

Stafford’s books are self-published under Galactic Yeti Publishing, and available from his website directly or through Amazon (in hardback, paperback and kindle format). He also attends many local fairs and fetes, enjoying meeting readers. The Dust Series books are also available in some libraries.
