Mostly self taught I took up wood turning soon after I retired making traditional bowls, platters, boxes and enclosed forms, as well as painted and stained plates. In addition I also make urns and seasonal gifts that include Christmas trees, bottle openers and stoppers. Turning items from green wood, mostly Ash interests me, as the wood dries it distorts and produces interesting dynamic shapes. Commissions are also undertaken.
