I design and create a range of brightly coloured baby and children’s handmade knitwear
I trade under the name of Knitty Nora.
After leaving Art College in the 80’s, I designed and created knitwear that I successfully sold at various craft markets and at Camden Lock and Covent Garden Markets. I was also a Community Artist and taught knitting to various community groups. I did this for number of years, but then stumbled into a long career in Social Work.
I have recently retired and have decided to go back to my knitting roots. I am now designing and making a range of hand knitted children’s wear, including hats, mittens, sweaters and cardigans. The items are brightly coloured and individual.
